The student models of the Josef Lídl horns were developed with the needs and requirements of the little musicians, the future professional horn players, in mind. Josef Lídl thus became the first manufacturer of the so-called “baby horn” in the world. Compared to other models, they are distinguished by their smaller construction and lighter weight. They are suitable both as solo instruments and as instruments for school ensembles and wind orchestras. This makes it easier for the youngest French horn players to develop more quickly and enjoy playing more.
